This prestigious recognition celebrates Knox’s remarkable six-decade career spanning entrepreneurship, public service, and leadership across industries. Throughout his professional journey, Knox has been known for his unwavering commitment to innovation, transparency, and community advancement; qualities that have shaped both his business achievements and civic impact.
“Tom leads with clarity and conviction, he doesn’t need a whiteboard to prove how smart he is. He listens, cuts through the noise, and finds real solutions,” said former Governor of Philadelphia, Ed Rendell, who nominated Knox for the honor.
In 2025, Knox launched Pinpoint Health Benefits, built to integrate reference-based pricing technology with AI-driven underwriting and quoting tools, making self-funded healthcare more affordable, transparent, and accessible for small businesses both at home in Philadelphia and nationwide.
Beyond business, Knox has held numerous civic leadership roles, including Deputy Mayor of Philadelphia, Chairman of the Airport Advisory Board, and Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate. His influence spans both public and private sectors, consistently rooted in a vision of bettering communities through sound leadership and purposeful innovation.
